Shopping for new and vintage Hermès scarves ~ ITS-ALL-GOODE

I often get asked for reliable sources to buy pre-loved scarves and am very cautious in doing so, as it has to be a 100% reliable source. I am therefore very happy to recommend the recently launched site of a dear friend, ITS-ALL-GOODE. I have total confidence regarding the authenticity of the scarves, the correctness of the descriptions and the reputation of the seller. The site specializes in Vintage Hermès scarves and shawls. It is a fantastic place to buy treasures from past collections, find a grail or score a deal. Enjoy!!

  15. Hello, I hope your Christmas was filled w joy and love, such as you give to us in your blog! As a relative newcomer, I was wondering if you had any thoughts on what vintage carre would represent the origins of Hermes eg saddles, harnesses, horses etc. Again, many thanks for all your time and energy.

  16. Dear Maisie, thank you for your good wishes, I hope you had a lovely Christmas too and wish you a very happy New Year!

Re the scarf designs. There are literally hundreds of scarf designs that are horse themed. You can check the HSCI site to find out which ones you like best. http://www.hsci.hermesscarf.com/index.php

It's all Goode has a beautiful Projets Carré for sale, you might want to check it out.

Before you buy, have a look at the corner design, as the ends will show most when you wear the scarf. I would go for a color that matches your wardrobe and goes with your skin tone. If you see one you like, print the picture out and fold it. Even if it is tiny, it will give you a good idea how the design shows when worn. Good luck!! x

  21. Dear MaiTai,
I discovered your blog today quite by accident, and have completely fallen in love with your style. As a "scarf beginner", I was hoping you might be able to provide some insight into different scarves available. For example, what is a Carre vs GM vs PM?

This would be so helpful, as I have a basket of my grandmother's scarves, and a selection of my own, but don't know what they are!

Many thanks in advance for your kind assistance & wishing you all the best from Canada!
