  4. Oh my goodness!! I have wanted one for ages, and you have made it super, super easy!! Of course, Mrs Neutral here went for grey, but I can see myself coming back for the black one! (black and shocking pink, now there is something I would SO do!)
Fabulous blog segment, so many 'how to's', I am knocked out by your inventiveness and the effort you have gone to for all the shots and instructions!! Thank you!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  7. You're using your blog to sell stuff? How disappointing. I feel like I've been punched on the nose. Oh well, I guess it was only a matter of time before you started wanting to cash in on blogging. Good luck!

  8. Amazing and such a creative way to wear scarves, its heating up to summer here in Austalia but I still want one of the furs, they are just way to useful not to have one! Thanks Mai Tai and congrats - great ideas and great pics.

  11. Dearest MaiTai, that is so cute! I modified one of my fur collars to use with a scarf last winter. Now I can tell my (best) friends that they can get something similar - at a really good price, I might add!
Sorry Esther, but I find your comments begrudging and ungracious. I think it's fantastic when someone has a wonderful idea and can monetize it, whether in a real or virtual store or through word of mouth or through a blog. I admire smart, inventive and dynamic people. Receiving money and recognition for one's talent, ideas, effort, and productivity is an honorable thing in our society.
Good for you, MaiTai - and thank-you for being so generous and sharing your fashion sense with the rest of us!

  12. These are so very beautiful! Do you have any plans to offer these in a faux version?

  13. @dance, I couldn't have put it better myself. It's truly a great price for the amount of work and effort put in! I'm certain there's a lot of thought and time spent on productivity behind the scenes...

  14. Excellent idea - your fur collars look great!

By the way, Esther's post is completely inappropriate and rude. You've always been so generous with your photos, decorating ideas and recipes - your efforts brighten our days and bring us lots of joy! I hope your new business venture is very successful.

  15. @dance, Sulli, lifeatmyfingertips and yana8 ~ thank you ladies for the lovely comments re the collars, really happy to hear :-)

dance, DD and yana, I appreciate your thoughts on the above comment <3 Adding here that it all started when I got requests from people who saw me wearing the ones I made for myself, asking me where they could buy one. With so many scarf loving friends around the world it was an obvious choice to put them onto my blog as well.

dance, I bet you were all cosy and chic last winter!

Sulli, you are not the first to ask, which is why I am going to look into it :-)

Yana, and you are brightening my day, thank you <3

  20. My apologies if my previous sounded negative in any way, it wasn't supposed to. Quite the contrary in fact, as I've always adored MT's blog for inspiration and style ideas. I suppose I just wasn't expecting it to ever become a money-spinner, as that changes the whole ethos of it, somehow. But as I said, I genuinely wish MT all the luck in the world. She deserves it!

  27. Bonjour Mai Tai!
I am so delighted that my fur scarf arrived yesterday. I was excited to wear it this morning, as the weather has recently dropped to below the freezing level (-8 C today!). I've never been happier to have such cold weather now that I have my cozy fur.

Thank you for sharing your inspirations. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

    Merci beaucoup! -- Louisa
