What isn't a feast for the eyes on your blog, dearest MaiTai! Thank you so much for this treat. Isn't it fabulous how the models wear them? - love the attitude. Of course, no one wears H as beautifully as you, dear MaiTai. Hope you're having a nice week, hugs xx
Thank you for the lovely compliments, dearest Scarf Addict. Like you, I love how the scarves are draped on the models, the whole set up is so...Hermès! Receiving the new booklet is a treat I always look forward to with greatest anticipation, followed by the LeMonde, of course! PS. Did you notice that all looks are modelled by the same girl? It is something I have never seen before. It works great though, she is truly fabulous on each and every page.
I'm torn between the Quand Soudain and the Tres Kelly - though maybe the latter is a bit obvious? I also love the long deco style H print one.
Thank you so much for the advice about the jumping boots. The store in Scotland doesn't stock them, it was a special order so they don't have your expertise!
Truly wonderful!! Really a feast for the eyes =) Thank you for sharing, do hope to get my hands on a copy too (and the Le Monde as well)! The cent plis is growing on me ;-) xx
Aren't H dilemmas just the sweetest, dear Tabitha! If you can, try both scarves on, and go for the one that makes your heart sing loudest. You are most welcome re the boots, wishing you the best of luck! :-)
Thank you, dear DD, hope get you'll your copies soon. Re the CPdeM, let me quote our dear robee 'Buy now, think later' :D
How nice of you to share the booklet with us! I love the different ways the model wear the scarves. The CPdM and JdM have been on my list from the start and after seeing the booklet, I'll have to check the 70' Pour Sortir... and maybe 90' CdL too... I think I need a money tree....
Once you have found a money tree, would you mind sending me a sapling over, dear booksnchocolate? I get weaker and weaker re the JdM, even though I still think it would be perfect as a mousse.. might not be able to wait and find out if it will be reissued as such!
MaiTai, many thanks for sharing. I am in love with this: http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg172/MaiTai05/Publications/192.jpg Can you kindly tell me more about this? Many thanks!
MaiTai - so wonderful you to share the booklet with us. It takes too long for it to get to the US, so it's a real treat to see it. I sent one of your scans to my SA - the Vif Argent shawl - and she told me they just got it and it was beaded. I couldn't tell from your pics it was beaded and so my heart sank because that means $$$$$$$$! Oh well, will have to "see and admire, don't buy" lol. Good thing there's lots of other things to consider! You're a dear for scanning the book!! xoxo, P
Oh thank you, MaiTai for posting these beautiful pics! I'm still waiting for my copy so it's wonderful to see it in advance! I have already fallen for, and taken home, the JdeM in the blue featured in the booklet - it would be perfect with your Bolide :-)
Dear F, these are truly stunnig and exquisit pieces. The top is a 90 'Invisible Ex Libris'Carré (ref no: 501063S, color 02), and the skirt a 'Vif Argent Lumière' Carré Geant, 140x140cm (ref no 712388S, color 01). As Pauillac said, both are embroidered and beaded. It is done by hand, which explains their high cost :-)
Thank you for your sweet Bastille Day wishes, dear Mia T. We joined the celebrations and watched the fireworks, it was a great fun evening x
You are more than welcome, dear dogbiskit! <3
Happy you enjoyed the booklet, dear Paulliac. We always seem to get the new season's scarves last, but the publications come out nice and early! Re the embroidered silks, I am still wiping my keyboard... I need come and join the 'see and admire' club! Hugs x
Congratulations on the bleu JdM, dear sushi queen, woohoo! You are on a roll, perhaps you should consider changing your nick from 'sushi' to 'scarf', lol! Will take Ms BdP to the scarf counter on my next visit... ;-)
You are very welcome, dear F. I am glad that you asked, as the photos don't show the embroidery very well. Please join our new 'see and admire' club, we'll have a party instead ;-)
How beautiful, lovely Mai Tai! So many lovely options. Thank you for sharing with us. I always know I will see beautiful things when I visit your blog and it makes my day.

ReplyDeleteIf they don't, you might find out too late and there won't be any left for you to grab... You know what Robee says.... Buy now, think later ;-P
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to send you a sapling over...once I find a way to make the tree grow that is...
What a funny coincidence, I have quoted dear sweet robee's famous words today too, surely that's a sign, ha! Good luck with the tree :D
