  1. Thank you so much as always, my dearest MaiTai, for your ever so clear and helpful videos - they are the best! And a double thank you for the reassuring info re the Hart Déco. You are the sweetest fairy. I think we may become twins soon ;-) Much love to you and big cosy hugs xx

  2. Thanks, dear Mai Tai! This is how I wear my scarf when I'm wearing a jacket or blazer, it looks a bit bulky under a coat, I think.

If it's not too much trouble, could you one day post a video of the asymmetrical shoulder wrap knot, please? It's such a lovely, elegant knot but I can't quite figure it out. The picture tutorial is great, I'm just missing something :-(

  3. Such an exciting prospect to become Hart Déco twins with you, my dear Scarf Enthusiast! I'll get the champagne on ice, just tell me when to pop the cork. Much love to you too, and have a lovely week ahead <3

Hello Frances, and welcome! Good idea to bring the asymmetrical shoulder wrap into a video format, it should make it much clearer. One by one, I am assembling a how-to library of all knots featured in my posts, and the next time I wear the wrap, a video will follow too :-)

  6. Boo! Hoo! I can't see this one because I do not do Facebook. You have to have a FB acct. to view FB photos and videos. Any chance it will ever be posted on YouTube? Even just a still photo on your blog of the finished effect would be nice!

    1. Dear Michele, please excuse this unbelievably belated reply! I did not know that videos uploaded onto FB book can only be seen by FB account holders. Will try and update all videos to YouTube. In the meantime, here's the link to a still of the simple loop: simple loop
You probably recognize the knot, the stole is just folded in half and placed around the neck. The ends are then pulled through the loop the other side. Hope this helps.

  7. This look is so chic and charming on you, Mai Tai.

With some experimentation, I think this works with 90 carres as well, as long as you use a scarf ring (either the infinity or regular scarf ring will do -- with the regular one, just put one end through each opening). It stays nicely on me and looks tidy but informal -- nice for me, who is always wearing very nice H items in a very business casual office.

    1. Many thanks for sharing your variation, dear A. You could also try the hacking or weave knot, they result in a similar look :-)
