Oh-la-la, you really know the way to present the beauties to us - the book must be a dream. As if it not over the top to cruise the Hermes boutique on vacation (being hungry all the time, in order to lose the last centimeter in my waist, for scarf knotting reason). I can resist cakes (proved), but cannot resist Hermes (also proved), therefore thank you for sharing the selected photos, as I, a member of Anonymous Hermes Addicts, cannot let this full book enter my life, too dangerous bankruptcywise-temptation might become unbearable, LOL.
My dearest MaiTai, This is such wonderful news for all who have been waiting! And what lovely notice from Rue de Sevres boutique - love the Librairie Chaine d'encre logo. Thank you so much for all you share - looking forward to ordering a copy - a most unexpected special summer treat! Much love to you with happy orange hugs xx
Thank you dear MT for sharing the news and some photos with us. Lots of Hermès addicts have been waiting and waiting for this release. Though I'll probably have to pass. This book would be too dangerous to my wallet.
Very enticing news but still diappointing for us here in the US. I've been tracking this book for what seems like forever, and Steidl still has no news about US publication dates.
Well, I'm happy for you at least, and maybe you'll let me have a peek at it!
Wow,what a beautiful publication! Thank you so much for the sneak peek at this beauty! So very happy that your copy is on it's way. As Jerrine noted, those of us in the U.S. will have to rely on you to let us into this jewel! Sending great summer fun vibes your way, T xx
The workmanship that goes into an Hermès product is really something, isn't it? I have Hemès tack for my horses; it gets better and more beautiful with wear. The handbags are equally impressive. The book is gorgeous; thank you so much for the view Mai Tai!
Congratulations on your newly launched waterfall necklace colours - have spotted them recently - which go hand in hand with Hermes items in such a nice manner, hope to see more posts soon featuring these nice jewellery beauties. The colour combos are just amazing - congrats to the author being able to detect all our wishes and needs. You launched the info about them in right moment to make the story about the beauty complete, together with this nice book on travelling the Hermes world.
Dear Lilian, Chocolate, Cookies & Candies, CS, Scarf Enthusiast, booksnchocolate, Jerrine, Trudye, Reese, JA_UK and Poppy Buxom - so glad you enjoyed the preview, and hope everyone will have their own copy soon.
For those who are experiencing difficulties in obtaining the book: The Chaîne d’encre bookshop ships internationally and orders can be placed from overseas (postage is high though due to the weight of the edition). Call +33 1 42 84 41 57 or send an email: chainedencre@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteMT, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Otherwise, I'd never know this book existed. The photography is breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteFascinating....and dangerous, too. Volume 11: Now many scarves do I regret not buying?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, dear MaiTai on finally receiving (soon, I hope!) you long awaited book. Cheers for you! :-)
Warm hugs,
CS

ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up MT, it seems like I've been waiting for this book forever!! Looking forward to getting my hands on a copy :)
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine what would happen to me if I got even a glimpse of the Enamels volumes.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's a good thing that the US publication date is still unknown ... XD
