  6. Love the videos showing how to tie the scarves. I'm not very creative so get in a rut without your help.

  7. I love the photos of the Hermes window displays and pictures of women with their scarves walking the streets of Paris. I firmly believe that there was a mix-up when I was born and I was meant to live in Paris. Two visits were not enough to that City of Light and it is my greatest dream to spend months there walking the streets, enjoying the cafes, and shopping at Hermes (maybe Chanel, too). So, when I see the fabulous city through your lens and with a focus on scarves, I am transported to Paris--where I should be living.

I also love the index of scarf-knot styles listed on the side of your blog. Very useful!

  8. I use the tutorials the most but I love the capsule posts because I like seeing your different mixes of scarves, accessories and clothing. It always reminds me that I need to work on buying more classic, basics that last through time and not just the season.

  12. The capsules and the videos. Both are so educational. It always amazes me how the scarf elevates a good outfit to a great one, and the videos are so much better than the diagrams I have saved over the years.

My heart sings any time you find yourself down by the beach or are wandering the streets of Paris...I adore the commentary. Too, being a classic "summer", any time you put together a capsule in tones that I wear, it gives me another chance to play in my closet and try something new! All so much fun!!!
    Merci,

  27. It's all good! Knot tutorials give me new ways to enjoy my scarves. The tutorial on choosing which axis to fold the bias on was eye opening. Loved the post on layering and un-layering according to temp. "Summer-ing up" dark scarves post very useful!!

  28. I've been a lurker on your blog for a couple of years. I should have followed a long time ago! Thanks for all of your posts on how to tie/use scarves. They've really helped me. And your posts on your travels - especially the trips to Paris - are wonderful. It's not as good as being there - but it sure is a close second!

  29. It is really hard to choose just one, but I think the two series that I enjoy the most are the "Scarf it up" and "On-the-go."

  31. Dear MaiTai,

Hmmm....how to choose a favourite type of blog post! I enjoy all your posts, but especially love the ones where you deal with reader questions and capsule wardrobes. I also found your posts on how to make work outfits more formal/casual very instructive. And I love the shots of the changing landscapes through the seasons and how you link the colours you are wearing to these, plus your travels and day trips. I've also made quite a few of your recipes too! I suppose I could sum it up by saying that I love the 'MaiTai in action' posts the most. :)

Hope you are having a lovely weekend,

    Melusine x

PS: I may have accidentally submitted a blank comment - apologies if so and it wasn't an attempt to gain an extra entry! ;)

Thank you for all you do!

  37. Like others have written, it is hard to choose one favorite type of post. They really all are lovely. The two that I have found most beneficial for me are the tutorials on how to knot scarves and the capsule wardrobe posts. The capsule wardrobe posts in particular have shown me how having less can really give you so much more. I always look forward to seeing new post updates in my inbox!
