  1. So thrilled to be in such glam company! And such inspiring photos. Tomorrow will definitely be a scarf wearing day. I need to send photo of my gorgeous new MaiTai scarf ring but it arrived so beautifully packaged I felt so spoilt, I may have to save it and give it to myself for Christmas xx

  2. This is such a fun post! Love how all you lovely ladies are so creative with your gorgeous scarves and beautiful pieces from the MaiTai Collection.

Jerrine: You were one of the lucky ones to purchase MaiTai's newest addition...I wanted one so bad. It is absolutely stunning on you, enjoy!

Thank you dearest MaiTai for sharing these glamour shots with us. Warmly, Simone xx

    1. Simone, you are most kind - thank you. I certainly do feel lucky, as I'm so enjoying the gemstone necklaces. I wear the gold one so often that if I'm not careful, I'm going to wear it out!

I'm so sorry that you weren't able to get one, but I have an idea that there are more wonderful necklaces coming in the future. Your time will come, my dear.

      All the best,
      Jerrine

  3. My gosh, it's a veritable United Nations of style. Ladies, you all look gorgeous in your Hermès, made even more so with that touch of Tai.

Anna, you have one of the most beautiful and romantic faces I've ever seen. I hope you model for someone! Perla, you are absolutely adorable with such a pretty and sweet smile.

Marla - such great style and joie de vivre, and Manuela - great hair. (I'm sure you have the gorgeous face to go with that glorious mane.) Elizabeth - I'm jealous of your great closet and beautifully arranged H. scarves and accessories, and Marsha, I'm jealous of your legs - skinny jeans were made for those legs! Monica, I covet your green gemstone collar, and Christina, I love your top. It looks like an H. scarf print.

Beautiful knots from Melora, Wanda, Cecilia, Irina, Elaine, Yoko, Blighty and Christel. You can probably all fill in for MaiTai if the need ever arises. And what lovely and artistic still life collages from Heidi, Florence, Marsha, Yoko, Emma and Monica of that green gemstone collar.

Macs - looking great as always, and that brings me to Faux Fuchsia. Honey, you've got great Hermès, too, but those lips are the show stopper. I've never seen a more perfect pair, even on Angelina Jolie. They're gorgeous and very envy worthy.

Ladies, in summary, you all look wonderful. Well done.

A toast to all of you,
    Jerrine

    4. Well, it's a wonderful print, Christina, and I only wish we had such lovely fabrics available here in the States, but all the best fabrics seem to come out of Europe after all.

Manuela, you must not block that lovely face next time! I'm sure that it's as gorgeous as the hair.

    1. Thank you, Claudia. The necklace is definitely my new favorite accessory. Complete strangers have come up to me to ask me where I bought it. I just tell them that I have this marvelous personal designer and stylist in France!

    2. Dear Jerrine, what funny incident! I'd give my right arm to see the faces of the strangers listen to your answer :-)) How decadent it sounds having a personal designer in france! Brilliant!!! Wonderful weekend Claudia

  9. Ladies, you are all Vogue-worthy! Dear MaiTai, you arrange these collages so artistically. Jerrine, love the new necklace on you. I really enjoy the still-lifes (still-lives?) too. Marla inspires me to pair a waterfall necklace with a scarf. And while I don't have Elizabeth's gorgeous closet, I can use her brilliant scarf-ring tree idea. Wishing a very happy weekend to all the ladies of "Le Salon!"

Yes, Elizabeth's wonderful closet is very drool worthy, isn't it? And, the scarf-ring tree looks like a little piece of sculpture. Very clever, indeed.

    1. Awww, thank you, dear Trudye. And, yes, the lucky little (well, not so little) piglet is definitely enjoying her prize.

Oinks and a most joyous weekend to you, too. I took the day off from work today and am baking up a storm. I'm dusted in flour from head to toe, but MT's wonderful necklace is safe from the baking chaos.

It's much too warm here to get in the holiday spirit just yet, but hopefully, Christmas weather will return to us soon.

  13. It's wonderful to see how beautiful these scarves look when they're worn! And we get to savor some added details, like Jerrine's necklace (which pairs fantastically with the shawl and scarf!) and Mai Tai's scarf rings. Must go now to clean my closet - I love Elizabeth's scarf ring tree, but her closet is truly inspirational!

    1. Thank you, Annie. I'm finding that the necklace is even more versatile than I thought it would be. I feel so fortunate to own it.

I could clean my closet until the cows come home, and it still won't look like Elizabeth's!

      All the best to you,

  20. Sorry to be so late to the Salon party. I tried to post a couple of days ago and my comment was swallowed into a black hole. I love these collage posts! It’s so nice to put faces to names. I never tire of seeing how everyone wears their scarves and Mai Tai Collection items. You are all wonderful! Thanks to MT for assembling this visual feast. And thank you Jerrine and Fifi for your kind words. Fifi—I think I got the scarf/necklace combo idea from Mai Tai or Macs. Jerrine—you are rocking that necklace. Love it! And Elizabeth—I covet your closet so spacious and tidy.

  21. From Elizabeth....First and foremost, all praise and heartfelt thanks to our amazing MaiTai for her style, grace, creativity and commitment to sharing with us all!! My college age daughters tell me over and over, "Mom"....."you have a serious girl crush". YES I DO!!!! So happy to share my new closet with all via MaiTai....I found that "jewelry tree" on Amazon....and looked at ones whose comments noted "it was a little short".....and thought it would be perfect for MaiTai's rings (as opposed to jewelry)....as for the scarf storage...I have struggled for years but had the opportunity to set apart a space in a new closet for them (and bags....which I should share later)....while this unit pulls out and has a double "rung" unit .... I imagine that men's "trouser" hangers would also work nicely if you can steal some space!!! Thanks to all for sharing your amazing style!!!
