A new Gavroche and Pocket Square knotting ideas!

With 4th of July celebrations in the US 🇺🇸 and Bastille day in France 🇫🇷 approaching, and white clouds lazily moving through summery blue skies ...

... I thought it would be a perfect time to introduce the cute and whimsical "Fantaisies Botanique- Detail" Gavvroche/Pocket Square scarf I bought earlier in the spring.

At first glance, it's predominately red, white, and blue, but its many color nuances make it a very versatile little scarf. The blues range from cornflower, navy, turquoise, and ciel to steel and slate blue, and the reds go from bordeaux to cherry, coral, ruby and salmon.

The "Plumes en Fêtes" enamel bracelet in "Tropique" came home with me at the same time, and even though it is predominantly orange, it works surprisingly well with the new little Gavroche too (available at h.com here)

  3. :-) Dear MaiTai,
I love what you do with scarves - large or small, it's such an inspiration! The ideas you are showing for a gavroche are great and I'll give it a try, once I get a Gavroche between my fingers. I especially like the idea of using two Gavroches for a special look.
Hope all is well with you and yours!
    All the best,
    Claudia :-)

  4. Dear MaiTai, the Camelia has become a favourite knot and I've enjoyed experimenting with the different ways of emphasizing it as shown in your wonderful Scarf Art app. The chouchou knot looks fun too. I have a Mors scarf ring and I believe you have shown some ways of using it in the past. It would be great if you could put these (and some new ones?) in the app; it is so much easier to learn from! Stay safe as life becomes freer. With best wishes, Elisabetta
