Marché Nocturne

In the summer months a lot of towns and villages host evening markets, the so called Marché Nocturnes. I just love them, they are so romantic. The stalls are brightly lit, musicians are playing in the streets and you can buy more or less anything... hand made earthenware, lavender soaps, bangles, baskets, wild boar sausages and thousand other things. They usually start around 7:00pm and are busiest late at night, when people are crowding the stalls and the restaurants and cafés are brimming with life.. late night diners enjoying an alfresco dinner while others may just have a glass of wine or an espresso, watching the busy and bustling night scene..
