  2. Dear MaiTai, Sending many thanks for this series, I love seeing the window displays! None of the spring scarves have captured my heart, so I've strayed into silver jewelry, recently. :-) All the pieces shown are gorgeous! Do you know the name of the necklace in the fifth photo? And I'm head over heels for the GM Galop bangle. I saw it in my boutique, and it's beautiful!

    1. The silver trail is just as dangerous as the slippery silky slope! Sorry re the necklace, I can't recall what it is called. It is featured on page 8 in the 2010 silver jewelry catalogue, but without a reference to it's name!

    4. I saw it in the store yesterday. It has a very long chain, the circles don't start before halfway down your chest. It's called Azur, and the price is 2200 EUR.

  4. I've loved seeing all these updates MaiTai, thank you for taking such lovely photos. I love that necklace in the last photo above, and the use of the dials. Your romantic trip to Paris sounds wonderful!

I'm really loving my shawl, but am not sure which one it is...it's one that my mother had, and she very kindly decided to give it to me (she had two of the same design, but different colours). I'll try to find out! I think I'll have to treat myself to one of your gorgeous shawl rings to celebrate. :)

    Have a lovely week!

    1. So happy you enjoy the photos, dear Melusine. Re the shawl, in most cases you can find the name of design somewhere on the scarf. If not, please email me a pic, and I'll try to ID it for you: maitaicollection@orange.fr
Have a lovely week too x

  5. Thank you for your lovely blog. I have been devouring it for the last 2-3 weeks and have "rediscovered" my scarves as a result. I fell under the orange spell in 1998, thanks to my dear best friend who offered me my first scarf for my 25th birthday. Since then it has been an addiction... my living abroad, (too) far from an Hermes store, has (slightly) tamed my obsession.

I want to thank you for one thing in particular: you have opened my eyes to designs that in the past I would have just overlooked. Your attention to the details of a scarf (its border for example or colors) has made a huge impact on me and the way I see them.

I am looking forward to selecting some rings to go with my collection!!!

    Thank you again! Marie

By the way- How did your orange obsession start? What was the item that made your heart bit faster the first time?

    1. So happy you enjoy it here, and thrilled that your scarves are having a new span of life because of it. It is always wonderful to hear H stories... many thanks for sharing. Mine started with a newspaper article on how a Kelly is made :-)

    1. Isn't it wonderful to see our gorgeous Circuit emerging in so many different forms! I saw it transformed into beautiful cushions (cream and white) at the Sevrès store, and had to think of you <3

    1. I am truly sorry for not being able to help on this. I have not seen it in the stores yet, and it is not featured in the scarf booklet either. You could ask in a store, they would be able to look it up for you.
