FSH summer windows - part one

The current window displays at Hermès in the Rue du Faubourg St Honoré feature light and summery neutrals, with splashes of color in coral, chartreuse, yellow, orange and red. The backdrops consist of large and bright beach towels. There will be daily updates for the rest of this week, until all windows have been covered. Hope you'll enjoy!

  1. Oh I had noticed the windows had changed when I passed by them on Saturday but I didn't get to stop because I was in a hurry. Thank you for this update!

Hermes orange, étaupe and white is one of my favourite combinations.

  6. P.S. Mai Tai your video is absolument extraordinaire. Is it at H's boutique or in the place in this hotel? I forgot the name right now

    1. All images in these series show the windows of the Rue du Faubourg St Honoré boutique (as well as the windows on it's side street, the Rue Boissy d'Anglas). The Rive Gauche boutique in the Rue de Sèvres (former pool of the Hotel Lutetia) had the windows decorated with Petit H.

  8. Dear Madame Maitai, Thank you so much for the 'look-in' to Hermes windows...you have renewed my appreciation of fine details in leather goods... And I do so like the seahorses beach towel, but too good to use at the beach!
My mum has a H. beach towel in green and pink.

  9. At risk of displaying my ignorance at the true, finer things of life...is the orange leather polo saddle an item for H. customers or an H. item for windows display ?
    Cheers, Mandy

    1. Most of the special pieces are created for the windows only, and often they get re-displayed in different settings over the years. They will never be on regular sale, but some customers may be able to buy or special order these.

So glad orange is a summer colour, along with taupe. It's a favourite combination...
