  7. Hello!
I like those of Paris and that one of Vienna, although I' ve never been inside one of them... However you should come to see ours in Italy... That one of Milan is quite big (for sure not like the 24 fbg. One...!) and also that one of Turin is very nice!
I love your blog: although I'm a male I like it because you are the incarnation of the Hermès spirit: simple and smiling but with nice "exotic touches" such as some pieces of jewelry and the carrès.
So I wanted to ask: I' m 17 and I wanted to buy my first H belt. As colours I like orange, absinthe and Mykonos blue (that is spool beautiful!) but there is no belt with two of this colours (there is?), so I though about a mykonos and honey strap, such as this http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/reveal-paris-heavenly-blessings-silks-pg-4-15-a-678977-3.html
(the second you see, with golden H buckle).

But which buckle should I buy? Golden or palladium plated? Gold Colour is than one that better matches with both honey and Mykonos, I guess, but I don't like so much the H buckle, so I really dunno!
I love the Muse buckle, but I think it doesn't exist in golden, so should I take it or it woudln't match with Mykonos and especially milk?
Maybe I could take the palladium collier de churn... Or the enamel quizz buckle, but in which colour?
i' d like to hear your opinion about it. Thank you so much
a last curiosity: where are you from?
However, thank you and compliments for the blog.

  8. Dear hermes, many thanks for the kind compliments, I am happy to hear you enjoy the posts, and hoping to visit Turin and Milan one day soon.
Re the belt, the Mykonos/god strap is beautiful, and if you prefer an understated buckle, the Muse is perfect. I have not checked for some time, but it used to be available gold plated and palladium. I think both buckle colors work very well with the above colors, and in the end, the final decision is down to personal taste, and perhaps how it matches the rest of your jewellery or watches. Re the belt colors, the combinations keep changing, Bleu Mykonos was introduced in AW2010, and might not be a permanent color on offer. Best would be to discuss the color options with an SA, and perhaps there is an opportunity to special order a custom color combination. Good luck! PS. I am of german/finnish origin, and before moving to the South of France, I lived in London and Los Angeles :-)

  9. Wow, Finnish! I love it! Never been to, but I tried to speak Finnish, that I believe to be one of the most beautiful languages in the world (with Italian, for sure!)... unfortunately I only remember "Minulla on kaniini" (it's "I have a rabbit",isn't it?)and terve or something else.
However can I ask you how much would a special order cost more than a normal belt?

  10. Terve, hermes! You are right about the italian language, and finnish is certainly amongst one of the most complicated! Special orders are usually not more expensive, as the production costs are the same. However, each boutique has a limited quota for special orders, which they prefer to fill with bigger items, such as bags. Terveisin :-)

  11. Kiitos!
I think they'll make some problems for this, considering that I have bought only some ties in my "Hermès-life"!
Well, this means it will be Palladium Muse + mykonos and honey.

However, the last question: do they sell buckle and strap separately? I knew they didn't, but a friend told me they do, as I also read somewhere... so?
    Thanks

  12. You are very welcome, hermes. The combo sounds great, and it will be nice to be future Muse twins with you :-) Re your question, they do not sell the buckles without a strap, but you can buy straps without a buckle.
