Linen dress with scarf in a half bow knot

Today is a beautiful, crsip and sunny late summer's day. Wearing a simple dark chocolate colored linen dress to go with feel of autumn in the air and to stay cool in the warm afternoon sunshine.

  3. I so adore your blog, it always brings me a smile. I hope to live up to the easy elegance you portray. I am intrigued with the little bits and pieces that you show of your day to day life, and am so wanting to see some more. Is it too forward of me to ask to show us some pictures of your house, your meals (that apricot tart has been at the top of my to-do list for some time now), tips that you know for cleaning items (I'm sure they're different from ours), suggestions for bringing more of a French aire to our homes and lives... I could go on and on with the little things that make me 'wonder'. Would you mind?

  4. MaiTai, I love your look. You're looking so stunning, classy yet relaxed! Actually, I'm quite envious about your crisp sunny day - here it was grey until about 4 o'clock :-) Enjoy those last sunny days and keep us updated on your great looks

  6. Hi Heather, your lovely comment really touched me, thank you for your kind words. And you have described it perfectly, it is most of the time the 'little things' that make all the difference. You might enjoy today's post, I was about to close the lid of the box of cup cakes I made, when I thought of adding a few streamers for decoration. It only took two seconds and did not even cost pennies, but the children loved it, it made it so much more special and exciting for them. It is a good example of how I see'Joie de vivre' and I will try to include more examples on this blog every now and then.. hope you'll enjoy!
