  7. @danse, with miles of ribbon you can start a little production!! Keyrings, luggage tags, bookmarks etc.. have fun!!

DB, pink is a HUGE departure on color for me, which is probably why I don't reach for this scarf that often. But everytime I do, I really like it. Must make more of a habit out of it :-) x

  9. Thank you msT, so happy to read your comment! And yes, I should reach for Ms Pink more often, if not for anything else than because it truly is a very pretty scarf :-)

  10. Hi MaiTai! i love your blog and pics. I was wondering, do you find the Regate large for the 70 size scarves? I'm having trouble with the scarf slipping when I wear it with a Regate, both my large scarves are 70s and I'm wondering if I should exchange the Regate for a different scarf ring style.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

  11. Hi salandpeggy and thank you for your kind words. Re your question, it all depends which knot you prefer. The Regate works great with 70s in a simple slip knot (place scarf around your neck and feed ends through ring, coming from opposite directions), Butterfly knot (see the video in the 'how-to' section) or Fan knot (see 'La Rentrée' in the 'Today wearing' section). But if you'd want to loop your scarf around your neck, and then bring the ends together, the Regate is too large. All round rings have the same diameter, so the problem would remain. It would work with a Chaîne d'Ancre ring (not the metal ones, they are too heavy) in horn or wood. Or a Gavroche ring (which is smaller), but they are very hard to find. Hope this helps, please come back if you have more questions. Good luck!

  12. Hi MaiTai, thanks so much for your reply! You saved me a two hour trip to look at scarf rings! I do love the Regate, so I think I will try to work with it. I think I may be pulling my scarf to tightly through the ring so it doesn't have a chance to "catch" itself in the ring. I adore the d'Ancre but it is hard to find in the wood or horn, even used! Thanks again:)

  13. You are very welcome, Sal. I sometimes wish the round rings would come in different sizes.Until then, we have to experiment with the best ways to use them, and you are right, pulling the silk less tight will help a lot. <3
