Last week in Paris

Last week, DH and I went for a romantic break to Paris. We narrowly missed the snow of the previous week, but it was cold and rainy, with mostly overcast skies. It was the perfect weather for spending time in cafés, galeries and restaurants... including a visit to FSH, of course.

'Galop Chromatique' carrés on Hermès' rooftop

I was thrilled that the windows along the Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Rue Boissy d'Anglas have been redecorated since I saw them last. As always, it has been an immense pleasure to capture the beauty and treasures inside. Over the next few days, I will upload and share those images on a twice daily basis, hope you'll enjoy.

  1. Dear Mai Tai,
I am so thrilled to have discovered your blog. I am a rather worn out Mum of two young children and I am in desperate need of an image overhaul!

Your chic, elegant and stylish selection of clothing and accessories is just what I need to fill my mind with ideas and inspiration and one day I hope to save enough money to buy an Hermes scarf (for the moment Ebay finds and Tie Rack here in the UK will have to do!).

I love the 'Galop Chromatique' and this scarf is the one I have fallen for. I keep returning to the Hermes website on-line everyday just to look at it!

Thanks again for your blog - I always look forward to looking at your posts and capsule wardrobe ideas - I hope that one day I will transform into a 'Yummy Mummy'!! Kindest Regards, Jo.

  2. A very warm welcome to you, dear Jo! Wishing you much fun and the best of luck building your capsule wardrobe. A beautifully tied scarf does so much to an outfit, regardless of it's make. It is also quick and easy, perfect for a yummy mummy's busy life!

Hope you had some lovely days in Paris despite the rain. Couldn't help thinking about 'Midnight in Paris' by Woody Allen' :)

    Warm orange hug, Manuela
