Skiing part II

Although it hasn't been that long since we came back, putting together this final part of our adventure in the Alps already feels like it has been, maybe because we returned to a warm and sunny southern France, where blossoming apricot, cherry and almond trees, along with wild flowers in the fields, were greeting spring.

Breathtaking views on top of the glacier

DS's preferred breakfast...maybe this is where he got all the energy from!

And then of course, LUNCH

Sun protection for the terrace

Such a pretty curtain, would be perfect for Christmas!

I was happy to see that the 'salade de rougets' was still on the menu

Wardrobe pieces: black rollneck sweater and ski suit
Accessories: Hermès 'Brazil' Maxi Twilly and Clic H enamel bracelet in black
Shoes: ski boots ;-)
Scarf tying method: Maxi Twilly wound three times around the neck, ends tied in the basic slide with a Grande Classique MaiTai Collection scarf ring in Mother of Pearl (you can make a double knot instead)

In the meantime back home in the south, Mimosa trees are in full bloom and little green leaves shoot up everywhere...

Have a wonderful weekend and early spring everyone xx

Such beautiful photos, especially the one of your mimosa tree. The color is gorgeous and makes me yearn for spring to pop in the U.S. We are suppose to get a wintery mix for the next couple of days. :-(

P.S. My flight arrives at CDG on Friday. I'll be on the 4 p.m. train!

  14. Bonjour Mai Tai, was in Paris the same time you were on your ski trip, so I thought I would check out the Village Royal? Lovely, I can honestly say I did not add to the decor like yourself, but I enjoyed it anyway. I loved the picture of the snowy evening from your trip, it was breathtaking, I could go on a skiing trip, however I have trouble walking sometimes! LOL, plus its much safer for everyone else! Living vicariously through you as always Mai Tai, much love Susan.

    1. It sounds that you had a most wonderful time in Paris, dearest Susan! The Village Royal is such a tranquil spot for a lunch or drink after a visit to FSH. If you want to try something different next time, you could go further down the road, to the Hotel Costes. The courtyard is another lovely oasis on a beautiful day xx
