  2. Thanks for another inspiring post. I find yellow/lemon so hard to integrate. My first Hermes scarf purchase was Amazonia in the yellow colour way - its beautiful but I hardly ever wear except with a white shirt because I find it so hard to match with other items in my wardrobe. Susan, London

    1. With summer to come, yellow is such a happy splash of color...teaming it with black works as easily as with white/ecru, and light grey is another wonderful combination for summer. You could also experiment with other neutrals, such as dark blue, charcoal, beige or teal. Hope you'll find many more ways to wear your special first scarf!

  5. Hi MaiTai, I love these colours, especially the Deep mustard colour! I have a skirt of that colour, but only tend to wear it in the winter? Can you suggest a colour that could summer it up please? Oh and that mandarin duck is the most beautiful thing. Gorgeous pictures. Love susan.

    1. Hello susan, your skirt sounds lovely, I love mustard too. In summer you could team it with shirts, t-shirts or light cardigans in white, ecru, light grey or black. Or add color, and combine with teal, rust or aubergine. Have fun!

  6. As my attention is firmly fixed on horse racing at the moment (Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont), I love "Photo Finish" and its beautiful colors--it offers to many opportunities! As I continue my mission to claim my first Hermes scarf, my only problem is deciding between all the lovely choices! PS--Your criss-cross bow knot looks so much better than mine! I'll have to practice.

  10. All so lovely as usual - the looks, the scarves, the travel pochette - sigh! Also, that photo of the duck is superb, with the reflection and the beautiful colours, did you take it? And should I hunt down a duck and use it as my latest fashion accessory? (only joking, no ducks were harmed in this making of this comment).

    1. I was so astonished by the duck that my camera nearly fell into the water! I spotted it in the local river, happily swimming admist the regular 'col vert' ducks. Can't imagine how it got there!

    1. Happiest twin hugs to you, my dearest friend <3 LOL re the duck.. I stared for quite a while into the water, making sure to see actual duck feet propelling it forward, rather than some remote controlled motor! The other ducks were completely unfazed by their exotic friend, it was quite a sight! Have a happy remaining Memorial Day weekend xx
