I've been very much looking forward to this scarf to arrive in the boutiques, and wonderfully enough, it exceeds all the expections that I had after seeing photographs. The rendering of the design and richness of detail are stunning, and it ties absolutely beautifully.
Hermès' logo of a horse drawn carriage and groom has often undergone playful alterations,
in the Year of India (2008) the horse drawing the carriage was replaced by an elephant
and in the AW2008 edition of LeMonde the groom looks the other way
In the 'C'est la fête' scarf, the horse and groom seem to have disappeared altogether!

2. Criss-cross knot with a grande MT Collection scarf ring in light Mother of Pearl (one end left longer than the other)
3. as above, with both ends in the same length
4. as above, only with a moyenne scarf ring (in black horn) instead of a Grande
with Roger Vivier patent leather flats and Hermès 'Optique chaine d'ancre' enamel bracelet
