  1. Although there are many scarves I love, Pani is something incomparable - I don't understand my love towards that Indian chief, but love shall not be understood at all, isn't it?
I grab it very often and really love it. Oh, how much would I like the olive coloured reissue in carre 90!
Your photo on the chair is a new artistic moment, congrats to your talent again!

    1. Oh Lily Tomlin, what fun, my dearest Trudye! The last time I saw her was in West Wing.. it was such a great series altogether. The KO part of the CenC has never had a better friend to play with, I am absolutely ecstatic by how much these shoes are doing for my scarf drawer (and never new how many of my silks have yellow in them)! Enjoy a most wonderful and fun show on Saturday, and a very happy weekend xx

    2. Do you allow me to add that I realized how huge range of yellow colours and its "relatives" is. I considered yellow my enemy for skintone, however found out that most of Hermes yellows actually work for me fantastically! Unexpected! Lea

  3. This is a great look. I have the 70 cm version of this scarf and am always happy to see it. The shoes look fabulous. There is a new hardbook book coming out about Roger Vivier which Ive pre-ordered and looking forward to reading. I'm rather tall and can't wear Vivier shoes as they don't come big enough but I can admire your photos of them with your scarves!!

    1. Many thanks for the heads up on the book, dear tara! Truly sad to hear re the RV sizing, especially since the flats are such a great look for tall women. I have a 70 Pani too, nice to be twins with you!

  6. Pani is my favorite segment of this scarf and I never thought to fold it like this. Bringing him out tomorrow for a spin. Very elegant look. Black and brown is so chic!

  7. When we are on CenC, I heard the rumours that spring 2013 shall bring us "some scarf comparable to CenC". I don't know what it means, particularly for the fact that to-come-scarf was somehow related to sequined scarf...I have not seen any spring scarf in the shop yet - do you have any knowledge about what "the scarf similar to CenC" might be? Or it is just an unfounded rumour...
    TIA, Lea

    1. Sadly, there is no CenC look alike for spring 2013, dear Lea. At least not in the regular 90 or 70 Carrés collection. However, there is a 'Carré geant' consisting of around three dozens scarf designs which are sewn together into a large patchwork (larger than a GM). It is this season's 'précieux' scarf, which means it is rare, limited and costs $$$$$. Another patchwork scarf is the result of a collaboration with Comme de Garçons, available at GdG boutiques. It consists of four different designs.

  8. No drama for Lily this time around. It will just be her playful comedy and the cast of characters she has made famous, followed by a Q and A! I am plotting my H accessories as we speak;-)
Yes, yellow or gold is a common thread in many of my silks...now I just need a pair of happy shoes to complete the look! xx

  9. Your talents are truly infinite, dearest MaiTai. This is one of the most delightful ensembles. Love seeing your seated shot, so very elegant with your stunning RV's and amazing Ms. Ebene. And how much I love your bourgogne Clic-clac warmly accenting the red in CeC. Much love and big "happy shoes" hugs (perfect name, dear Trudye!) xxx

  10. I can't even begin to tell you how I pine for that bag and the shoes. Sigh. Especially the bag. Or maybe the shoes. OK..both. Pining for both.

  11. Hello! I tend not to comment on blogs, but I really have to tell you how much I appreciate yours. So full of good ideas and always 'with good will towards everyone'. And best of all, no adverts which take ages to load! I have directed any number of scarf-fanciers to your blog, both to learn about using them and to buy your wonderful scarf rings - I love the ones that arrived recently, by the way! Also, may I ask a question? Where does the name Pani la Shar Pani come from? 'Pani' I assume means the tribe he comes from, but 'la Shar'? I googled around but the truth was not found! Best wishes & thanks very much! DB
