    1. Oh they did! It feels such a short time ago when DS had fun on carrousels... Paris was magical, and the clear skies and mild winter sunshine a perfect frame for the beautiful decorations. Winter hugs xx

  4. Oh MaiTai you were again in Paris?
Beautiful pictured and it brings sunshine in the heart because here the fog does not leave since 3 days. How sad it is. Nobody "smells" Christmas with this kind of sadness outside!

  7. Oh thank you, thank you for posting these images MT. Paris at Christmastime is a dream of mine. The lights and decorations are just so much more beautiful in winter compared to the warm weather Christmas where I live. Magnificent.

  10. Where is the all-white carousel? My grandsons found every playground and carousel in Paris on our visit with them, but I don't remember the white. Is is seasonal?

    1. Sounds your grandsons had a wonderful time in Paris! The all white carousel is seasonal, from Dec 9 to 26 on the Place Vendôme. It is by Ladurée, and you can find some more information on their facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.673673722653296.1073741832.200116946675645&type=1

  13. Dearest Mai Tai,
Paris is extraordinarily beautiful during the holidays, and thank you for sharing the beautiful images.
I've just returned from South America, and Rio has a section of the city that is completely inspired by Paris, right down to a smaller version of the Opera Garnier. Most of the buildings were erected in the erected in the early 1900's. It was truly amazing to see a bit of Paris, south of the equator!
Hoping that you're enjoying the holiday season! I need to do some "catch up"!
