  1. Dearest MaiTai--

Thank you for the feast-for-the-eyes-and-senses photo journey. Your narrative and photos make me feel as if I was right there browsing with you, but better--through your eyes, which are so keen in discerning the details that make something special.

Your artwork belongs in a museum, truly.

    much love and appreciation,
    sammie

  2. All so gorgeous, no one does their windows like Hermes. The leopard saddle was made especially for Faux Fuchsia. I could just picture her riding off in the sunset with her pink scarf blowing in the breeze!

So glad to hear you are feeling better dear MaiTai, and thank you for sharing these lovely photos with us. Simone xx

  3. Wow, just stunning. Faux Fuschia must have the leopard-print saddle, don't you think, dear MaiTai? And I'll take the beautiful gray croc gloves (got 'em first, Jerrine!) What would the rest of you lovely ladies choose, if you could have your pick? Dearest MT, what is the name of the scarf with the writing on it? It's so intriguing and different!
    With warm H-infused aloha,

    1. Given a choice, and before our resident piglet gets her hands on Everything,I love the CDC in honey(not sure of the color name) and gold! I would snag the cashmere throw it is resting on,too! I would have said one of the croc bags in honey, but fear it would take an army to lift it! No need to worry about the lining of the bags, though,as I am sure MaiTai can whip up an insert to fit;-)
Hope you are well and that the sun is shining in your neck of the woods,Fifi.
      Warm hugs,
      Trudye

    2. Dear Fifi, nice of you to ask... I would really love to have all of the bracelets! It's so hard to make a choice ;-)
Oh let me dream a while...

    3. Dear Fifi - we had the same thought when we saw the leopard saddle, how funny!
      Warmest regards, Simone

    4. Not so fast, Fifi dearest. I have a lovely graphite Kelly that's just pining for those grey croc. gloves, which I'm sure cost more than the Kelly.

I noticed that interesting scarf, too. Maybe we'll get lucky, and it will be offered in the fall/winter 2015 selection. I'll buy it if it is.

And since you're hogging the grey croc. gloves, I guess I'd select that beautiful honey tan croc. Birkin in the third picture. I don't know what that color is, but I love it. Dream on . . .

      Croc hugs,
      Jerrine

    5. Oooh, we all have such good taste! Dear Simone, I laughed when I saw your post, too. Lovely Trudye, the sun came out for 10 minutes today. Everyone was running around pointing at the sky and saying, "what is that?!" Dear elegant Claudia, do enjoy all the bracelets! Dearest Jerrine, I proudly hog the gray croc gloves, and you will have to cry in your gorgeous tan Birkin! And now that I'm in such a happy mood thanks to all of your witty banter, the afternoon's work should be a breeze!
      Much aloha to all,
      Fifi

Hop on over to H town ladies! We are in the throws of early Spring weather...divine!

    8. Dear Fifi, I would choose the light grey coat and jumping boots on the 1st picture, though some of the other items are also tempting! :-), Manuela

    9. Dear Manuela, I can totally picture you in those gorgeous boots and coat. You will need the riding crop as well to complete the look...
      Aloha,
      Fifi

    10. We're going to have to draw straws for the honey CDC and those fabulous slate croc gloves! Wouldn't that honey colour make the perfect spring Birkin, also? Really love all of these hues.
Fifi, Trudye and Jerrine...can you come over to my house to play?? LOL! You are all such fun!!
Dearest MT, as usual you have whet my appetite for "H" 2015. The pictures are beautiful~

    11. Trudye, really, moi a piglet? Now what ever gave you that idea? And, yes, I guess we'll have to wrassle over that croc Birkin in the divine color, even though we don't know what that divine color is.

Isn't it sweet of our Fifi to gift us with our favorite item from the window? I assume that's why she asked each of us what we like best. Fifi, that is why you asked, right? Fifi . . .

Have a lovely day, ladies. It's spring like here, too, but over the weekend, we'll drop to 13 with the wind chill in the below zero range. I wish the weather would just make up her mind.

      Cheers,
      Jerrine

    13. Let's head over to Haverfordgal's ( she has the champers ) and give a toast to Fifi! Because I could swear that she meant she was going to gift us with our choices, too!
If any of the ladies are taking me up on my offer to visit Spring weather, best hurry or bring the mink! Temps expected to plunge here, too!
Wishing all here a weekend full of love,
      Trudye

    14. Haverfordgal, of course we'll come over for a play date. Get the champagne on ice!

Fifi will be wearing the grey croc gloves, and Trudye and I will be carrying the luscious, we-have-no-idea-what-color-it--is-but-we-want-it Birkin TOGETHER. And, whoever is sober and still standing at the end of the party gets to keep it.

      Hope you're improving,
      Jerrine

    15. You ladies crack me up! Yes, of course I was going to gift you all with your choices. However, I didn't win the PowerBall so -- never mind! I wish I had, because we would all be heading to Haverfordgal's place to watch the mystery-color-Birkin smackdown. ~ This Valentine's Day, I celebrate love in all of its abundance and variety. I second dear Trudye's wish for a weekend full of love for us all!
      Warm aloha,
      Fifi

    16. Game on Jerrine;-). Except I will still need help carrying that giant bag...after I win the champagne challenge! So, I will have to wait for you to sober up!
      Such fun in Le Salon!
Wishing everyone tons of fun for the weekend, too!

    17. Watch out ladies...I've been downing lots of Champers over the past 6 weeks (practice, practice) so I fully intend to be the last lush standing at the Smackdown!
Perhaps Dearest MT can ship a supply of Toile Jammies and cashmere socks to help soften the blow of those who ...uh hem...surrender to the grape!

    18. Oh, darn, Fifi, how disappointing.

Birkin "smackdown," huh? I can take Trudye in a New York minute. I know I'm a lot bigger than she is! I don't care if she's from Texas. I know Texas gals are feisty, but New York girls are mean . . . and wily. I'm walking away with the mystery-color Birkin, for sure. Place your bets, ladies.

      Mean originally-from-New York girl,
      Jerrine

PS - MT, both Trudye and I, and lets not forget Fifi, apologize for getting a bit raucous in the middle of your lovely salon.

      Delete
    19. Truds, slurp . . . burp . . . hiccup. I've never been drunk a day in my life (but, I do lie on occasion). That Birkin is MINE for sure!

Again, apologies MT and lovely ladies,
      Jerrine

    20. Alrighty then, yes, apologies to MT for getting a little too rowdy in Le Salon! I think Jerrine and I are tipsy on thoughts of that mystery colored giant Birkin!
But,darling Jerrine, make no mistake, your NY GIRL has no chance against this Texas WOMAN! LOL!

    21. Oh, Jerrine, I love New York! I'm originally from there, too. I was a teen when my family moved out west. Still have cousins in NY, although many have moved to Florida. My "dream prize" (well, one of them) is a year in Manhattan, living near Central Park.
      Aloha,
      Fifi

    23. Fifi, I guess I should have clarified. I'm actually from a very small (6,500 people when everyone of them was at home), old town in upstate New York, but hey, it's still New York!

      Cheers,
      Jerrine

  4. Many thanks for sharing, MaiTai, so fun to see the windows! :-) I'm intrigued by the light scarf with writing, shown in the second photo. Do you have any details to share? I'm so fond of pale, simple scarves.

  5. Woke up this morning to see your beautiful photos; thank you! It's such a treat! And I guess I'm not the only one to be intrigued by the scarf with all the different handwriting and the blue hem. Just as I'm thinking I've about finished with purchasing some new scarves, Hermes draws me back in!

  6. Another beautiful feast for our eyes with part two,MT! I am still transfixed by the sizes at play here...giggling,too! At first glance, I thought the leopard saddle was huge! Perhaps for an elephant, then at second glance, maybe it is tiny, given the huge bowler hat and waistcoat!
I love the honey colored croc in all pics and the cashmere throw/scarf! I am curious about the scarf with the writing, too! Beautiful in it's simplicity!
Thank you, darling MT, for this special treat! I always love these strolls with you!

  7. Wow, MT, this group of windows is even more astounding than the first, and I could probably get myself into big trouble if there was ever a chance of buying any of what's in them.

Thanks so much for all the time, effort and obvious skill in photographing these delights. I agree with Simone. No one does windows with more charm and vexing temptation than does Hermès. I hope that Ms. Menchari is healthy and continues her work for many more years to come. How will they ever replace her? I suppose they could hire you!

  8. Bonsoir Mai Tai's,
très belles vitrines encore une fois. Je t'avais demandé il y a quelque temps le nom ou la référence de ces bracelets que l'on voit images 7 et 8 en camel, ils sont tout plats en cuir tout simple. Merci beaucoup !

  9. Dearest Mai Tai,
I do like the justaposition of big and small pieces in the windows. It makes me think of Alice in Wonderland...
Some of my favourite items are the light grey coat, the boots and the Birkin on the 1st picture combined with one of the orange bracelets...
Well, well... it´s so nice to dream...

A lovely day to you and all the Ladies of Le Salon, Manuela xx

  11. Hello all beautiful women of the salon... I am back and, even with my very bad English, I can assure you that in these three windows shown of FSH by our dear Mai Tai, I have choosen more of all of you my future 'presents" for the future.......
I want most of the bags, of course the saddle.... The gloves, all bracelets, shawls cashmere, boots, the llight gray coat and also some other "little" things.... So run ladies I will give soon an order ....
    Blink
Have a wonderful day of dreams about all these beauties so well photographed by the author of our dreams...

    4. No need to worry about me,Monica...I am harmless;-) Jerrine, all she said was that she wanted these pretties, not that she was going to take them! Ha!
I agree with Manuela, "author of our dreams" is so fitting here!
      Welcome back Monica,
      Trudye

    5. Well, Trudye, in my Hermès lexicon, want, desire, take, buy, etc. pretty much all mean the same!

But, of course, Monica is a lady. She wouldn't take that very much desired, gorgeous hunk of tan croc Birkin out of my hands like someone else I know would.

      Giggles & Hugs,
      Jerrine

PS - Hi, Manuela. Aren't you glad that you don't have to go up against Trudye and can stay out of the fray?

    6. Hi, Jerrine!

      I am! :-))
A great weekend to you and all the Ladies here! Manuela xx

    7. First it was the juxtaposition of the sizes in these windows that got me giggling and now our silly business in Le Salon! Always fun to tune in here to get my chuckle on!
I will graciously concede the giant Birkin to,yes, Jerrine! Given that I would not be able to lift it anyway! But, I am game for a few glasses of the champers with all of the lovely ladies here!
      Chin chin,
      Trudye

      Delete
    8. YEEEESSSS! Trudye throws in the towel - an Hermès towel, of course. Thank you T. Now, could you float me a loan?

And, yes, a few glasses of champers, as you call, it would be good any time, especially with the lovely swans of Le Salon.

      Love to all,
      Jerrine

PS - Trudye, isn't the Birkin in question a normal-sized 35 cm? Maybe I need to go back and drool at it again, but I could swear it's "normal."

      Delete
    9. Of course, Jerrine....with interest;-))
The whatever do they call it colored Birkin looks huge to me! Irregardless of the size, it would still be too darn heavy! Now if this was a Kelly Longue or Pochette, there would be no conceding! It would be mine in a heartbeat !

Loving Valentine's Day toast to all,
      Trudye
