Wishing you a very merry and happy Christmas!
In the busy days leading up to Christmas, I never quite find the time to write a post about my decorations. Our tree goes up on Christmas Eve, and I usually take photos in the days that follow.
So rather than posting after Christmas, I’ve gathered a few images from this holiday and from previous years. This is a visual post only, as I’m off to prepare Christmas lunch!

What a magnificent job you have done of creating those garlands. I will have to go back to your previous posts to see if you go into detail of how you managed to secure the different elements when constructing the garlands. ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Carolyn, for the kind words! The garland is actually very easy to create; the base is thick and heavy, so everything else can be nestled right into it. I simply tucked in the extra branches and twigs and hung the baubles just as you would on a Christmas tree. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and I’m wishing you a healthy and happy New Year!

The cookies are all family recipes, and I’m incredibly grateful to my grandmothers for writing them down, and to my mother for teaching them to me. She also instilled in me a love for tablescapes made with natural materials from the garden.
